Barkurian Venture in South Africa - Stonescape Opens Factory in Johannesburg


Mangalore, Jul 22: Stonescape, dealers in granite and marble work opened their new factory in Johannesburg, South Africa here, recently.

Manith and Maahir, sons of the proprietor, Jerome Manoj and Olinda Sequeira inaugurated the factory. Fr Marie Joe, Carmelite missionary from Benoni, blessed the premises.

After offering prayers, he conveyed his wellwishes to Jerome Manoj, Olinda and family and hoped for the success of Stonescape.

About Stonescape

Stonescape specializes in kitchen tops, vanity tops as well as wall and floor tiles. It deals with granite and marble-related installation, repair and maintenance work for Johannesburg’s premier corporate offices, hotels, financial institutions and world famous Sun City, 220 km away from Johannesburg.

Established seven years ago by Jerome Manoj, Stonescape’s primary clientele today consists of corporate offices, hotels, financial institutions and casinos in Johannesburg and its surrounding cities. 

Jerome Manoj Sequeira is the son of Late Salvador Sequeria and Margaret Sequeira from Barkur, Udupi district. He settled in South Africa 11 years ago with his wife Olinda Sequeria (nee Mendonca) and they have two sons, Manith and Maahir. His elder brother Vinod Sequeira is proprietor of Electrical Point, Mangalore and Udupi.
