Mangaluru: Coronavirus rules tightened, two-fold jump in fine

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Apr 2: In tune with the government instructions under heightened concern over coronavirus pandemic, Dakshina Kannada district deputy commissioner, Dr Rajendra K V, has issued an order restraining people from holding public functions and meetings on the occasion of Ugadi, Good Friday and such other occasions in public places, grounds, parks, markets, religious places etc.

Coming together of people at fairs, festivals etc has been banned. People have been asked to wear masks when in public places without fail and to maintain social distance. In case of violation of guidelines, a fine of Rs 250 in municipal corporation limits and Rs 100 in other places will be levied.

In case masks are not worn and physical distance is not kept in party halls, departmental store etc, a fine of Rs 5,000 would be charged. In the case of air-conditioned party halls, departmental stores, branded shops and shopping malls, the fine amount has been increased to Rs 10,000.

The number of guests at functions like marriage has been limited to 500 in open-air places and 200 in closed environments. For birthday and other celebrations, the guests have been limited to 100 in open places and 50 in closed areas. In case of death, funeral or cremations, a maximum of 50 persons can participate. In other celebrations, 100 people can participate. In the case of religious observations and programmes, 500 people can gather in open places. Police gatherings or programmes in open places too, maximum participation is 500.

In case of functions, owners of the areas concerned, organizers or planners or hosts will be personally liable in case of violations. If the violation is witnessed in star-rated hotels and in marriage halls, choultry or other public places having a minimum capacity of 500, the fine for rule violation has been fixed at Rs 10,000 which the organizers will have to bear, the order stated.

Dear District Commissioner. sir, u said many points in your circular. but can you pls keep an eye in city buses. 50% people are not wearing masks. if they wear that too on neck and chin. they wear that for the scare of penalty. not due to virus. how to stop this.. also buses are packed so much that there is no breathing space.

i really wish our dear DC would pay a visit to bondel junction, stop there for 10 minutes and then drive down the road from this junction to mudushedde. the totally irresponsible people with no masks, no social distancing and even the phc ignores your orders. the road is filled with garbage thrown by the locals, the numerous dogs feast on the littered garbage and the mcc notices of no garbage/ cctv coverage etc are totally ignored. smart city is a misnomer; it should be 'care a damn' city. i think the authorities ignore 50 of the 60 wards in their smart city plans. bondel junction does not even have a bus shelter whereas other way stops have stainless steel structures with no passengers standing/sitting in them.

"In the case of air-conditioned party halls, departmental stores, branded shops and shopping malls, the fine amount has been increased to Rs 10,000" these rules are to make money and nothing else. Such crooks are to be condemned by people of India irrespective of religions and their political affiliations.

1st in entire India should ban political rally's. being PM of India he is 1st to organize rally's. If a central leader does who will fine them? forget about only Mangaluru, all the DC's should come together to ban nautanki of politicians. only penalizing poor people doesn't work out.

Dr. Rajendra has taken the right decision. Despite all the efforts the CORONOVIRUS situation has not improved. Hence it is expedient that all the people in Mangalore take due notice of the warnings issued in the interest of The Public.

DC Saab kindly pay a visit to most of the private Schools. There is absolutely no social distancing, no masks and no sanitisation. Children and teachers are crowded in class rooms like chickens ready for slaughter. All your precautionary measures are going waste if this is not controlled or schools should be closed immediately as children are asymptomatic super spreaders. This is an exceptional year and so giving too much importance to exams is stupidity. There can be so many other ways to evaluate students effectively specially primary students.

This PCR test pandemic is to generate fear and to get people vaccinated. How many virus only deaths ? Mostly comorbidities deaths which they always had risk due to various reasons including their lifestyles. These short term hurriedly tested experimental vaccines would add how many more deaths God only knows. These RTPCR high sensitive tests may be detecting common flu which is also called as corona virus as Covid 19. That's why numbers may be increasing as seasonal flu every other gets it often. As such communist chinese and evil globalists seems using viruses, test experimental vaccines after vaccines, pandemic after pandemic (Covid 21, 23, SPARS 2025 to 2028) to depopulate, to turn economy down with shutdowns for total control, same time make money through these vaccines and to bring in their communist controlled new world order or one world government / rule that our some of the leaders fail to see.

Good to know fines are enhanced to fill the empty coffers of the govt. Sir first provide any scientific studies proving masks work with evidence. Secondly prove how the positive test reports prove it is a disease & it falls in the category of Pandemic. Lastly please provide data of previous years when there wasn't any of the pandemic claims to prove it is dangerous or exists. Farmers have proved all the above is only a scam, election rallies & Kumbh Mela including Holi revelry again proves a saying-"Any govt. imposes or acquires Emergency Powers during a situation, The Same govt. would create Emergency to impose or to continue the measures to retain its undemocratic Powers Later".
