Saudi Arabia: Booze Den Busted in Jeddah District

JEDDAH, Jul 26 (Saudi Gazet):  – Three men and a woman were arrested in the Al-Ruwabi District here after they were found to be producing alcohol. Police discovered the site after individuals  were observed selling alcohol in several districts and surveillance operations led units to the source of their materials. A subsequent raid found large numbers of containers used to produce alcohol and quantities of incense which the occupants used to cover up the fumes from their activity.

Police said that windows and other outlets at the apartment were sealed off with cellophane and insulation tape to prevent odors escaping. The four arrested were all of African nationality.
