Mumbai, Apr 3: Korangrapady Prakash M Shetty, promoter of Goldfinch Hotels and MRG group, hailing from Korangrapady clan of Udupi district was presented the Times Business award for 2021 for his achievements in the hospitality industry. Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty presented the award in the award event held at Mangaluru recently and congratulated Prakash Shetty.

Prakash M Shetty is the son of K Madhava Shetty and Rathna M Shetty. He has the experience of starting the MRG group and spreading his hotel business in India and abroad. He has great regard for education and is a philanthropist. Karnataka state chief minister B S Yediyurappa had presented him the Rajyotsava award of the state for 2019.

Global Bunts Federation president Aikala Harish Shetty, Bantara Sangha Mumbai president Chandrahasa K Shetty, honorary chief secretary R K Shetty and office bearers, MP Gopal C Shetty, Ermal Harish Shetty, Dr Shanker Shetty Virar, Sudhaker S Hegde of Tunga Hotel group, Jayarama N Shetty of Regency group and hundreds of elite people congratulated Prakash Shetty for having received the award.
