Jamiyyatul Falah's Community Development Centre Inaugurated

Mangalore, Aug 1: The community development centre of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Jamiyyatul Falah was inaugurated at Kankanady here on Sunday August 1.
Qazi of Dakshina Kannada district Al Hajj Twaka Ahmed Musliyar led the prayer.
Founder of Jamiyyatul Falah Iqbal Yusuf inaugurated the centre. In his address, he said that the centre has been established with the aim of providing educational support to the Muslim community and urged the people to utilize the opportunity.
District in-charge minister Krishna J Palemar launched the Jamiyyatul Falah website and said that the government has recognized thousands of minorities and assisted them in education and self-employment. The Muslim community too should take optimum benefit from government funds, he added.
President of Jamiyyatul Falah P B A Razaak presided over the function.
Addressing the gathering, Vijaya Karnataka journalist Mohammed Arif said that Jamiyyatul Falah helped him while he was in need of money for hisgraduation studies at Udupi. "I want to refund the amount as a token of love which would help other poor students to come up in life, together with assistance of the organization," he added.
Students from the Muslim community who excelled in education were honoured with cash awards.
MLA Yogish Bhat, Muslim central committee president Mohammed Masood, Muslim educational institutes federation president Mohammed Beary and others were present.
