Bantwal, May 13: MLA Rajesh Naik said that respective panchayats should provide transportation to ASHA workers, who are on Covid duty.

Naik was speaking at the Task force committee meeting that was held on Thursday, May 13 at Golthamajalu gram panchayat. He further said, “It is possible to control Covid if rural regions are made Covid-free. For the same reason task force meeting are held regularly. People have to take responsibility of their health.”

Out of the 59 cases that are reported under the Golthamajalu gram panchayat limits, 25 are active Covid positive cases and all are getting treated in Home isolation.

Tahsildar Rashmi S R said that all have to compulsorily register themselves for the vaccination and vaccine will be given depending on the availability
