Mangaluru/Udupi, May 19: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 829 fresh coronavirus cases on Wednesday.
The new cases have pushed the total number of positive cases to 66,737. This further has raised the number of active cases to 10,782.
As many as 1,027 people were discharged on Wednesday.
A total of 828 deaths have occurred so far, including two on Wednesday.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 49,236 including 863 fresh cases on Wednesday. Out of these, 6,442 cases are currently active.
Over 5,54,381 samples have been tested so far.
As many as 913 patients were discharged on Wednesday. A total of 281 deaths have occurred so far, including six on Wednesday.
