Kasargod: Policemen feast on chicken tikkas after raiding party!

Daijiworld Media Network - Kasargod (SP)

Kasargod, May 24: Overlooking lockdown restrictions, a group of youth had organized a chicken tikka party in the town on Sunday May 23.

The police personnel on rounds, seeing the crowd, went to check. At the sight of the men in uniforms, the group of youth took to their heels, leaving behind the tikkas and two-wheelers.

The police devoured the freshly made chicken tikkas and then took away the two-wheeler to the police station by loading it into a mini truck.

It may be recalled, Kerala has been under lockdown since May 8 after weekend restrictions and lockdown-like curbs imposed earlier failed to create any desired impact in terms of the daily caseload of the infected persons.

Readers, make no mistake that policemen, are the most maligned, after netas !!!! I do have sympathy towards the man/ women in uniform, they are our front line warriors, who are on the streets 24×7×365 days !!! Most policemen have serious health issues, due to their nature of work... Yes, there are black sheep in every sphere of our society... let us not revile the force, without hard evidence !!!!

You may recall that this Communist Party Govt praised their own Health Minister, Shailja for early control of Covid spread in Kerala... Let us believe that story for once.... but then why Kerala is suffering with more Covid positives even before it was spread elsewhere in other States what we called 2nd wave??? It's hard to trust any news now.... just because either it's anti NDA campaign or Pro NDA campaign.... Few Medias never hesitate to malign our Country just because their anti NDA attitude including few CMs' too

Dear sir, having lived in Kerala for a few years and i know that their health network is very extensive reaching even the remotest people, after learning from nympha virus outbreak they are the ONLY STATE capably doing contact tracking and tracing. As for media forget their presentation just look at ground situation.

Shettree..... You seem to demean Kerala sincere effort to control the pandemic and treat thier citizens, just because the ruling party is non-BJP. Please note below points: 1.Kerala never hid the covid infections or death numbers, like many other states 2.They proactively test most vulnerable people like shopkeepers etc. 3.During lockdown govt made sure that every family gets ration and urgent facilities at door steps. Including the migrant labourers. 4.Community kitchen running in every panchayat to feed people who are unable to cook themselves. This is running from 1 and half years now. 5.Minimal police attrocities. Very polite govt officers. Everybody was aware of thier responsibilities. No confusion. 6.All exceptions/passes for lockdown are applied on govt portal. Everything was on order 7.Govt guidelines were not confusing. CM attended interviews everyday and answered all questions, which filled confidence in people. 8.Help packages to all fields. These were not only on paper. Everybody actually got them 9.Utilized whatever medical facility they have/had jn effective way. 10. I see in Karnataka actual seriousness of wearing masks was only understood during second wave. In Kerala every single person was wearing from day 1. 11. No stupid rules like wearing mask while alone inside a moving AC car with windows closed. All this I am writing not because I am pro communist. I was in Kerala during last year lockdown. now I am in Karnataka during lockdown. Difference is very clear

Mr. Shetty, be factual..... Firstly what Ms. Shailaja as a Health Minister did was not STORY but facts, which you may not digest, because you might not have come across Ministers who work at the ground level..... Secondly case load increase you are talking about, since lockdown the active cases came down from 445334 to 277595, whereas Karnataka tops the charts in terms of total Covid active cases with 4,72,986.....And to the question why the cases are hitting Kerala first, 10% of Kerala’s population are NRIs, highest Foreign tourist footfalls in India are in Kerala and also the population density is high in Kerala.... Despite all these issues, till date there is no panic amongst people.... Unlike Karnataka none of the people in this State said NO to the returning of NRIs, they knew the risk, but still wanted their NRI brethren back unlike Karnataka, where even close family members were not willing to take the risk of their near and dear coming back. An excellent healthcare system and strong political leadership also contributed to Kerala’s success.
