Mangalore: Talent Research Foundation Felicitates 150 Achievers

Mangalore, Aug 23: The Talent Research Foundation organized an award distribution function for more then 150 achievers at Vishvas Crown Hall, near Cochin Bakery, Kankanady, on Sunday August 22.

Riyaz, co-ordinator of the programme, welcomed the gathering.

Mohammed Rafi Master presented the keynote address and said that the association is striving hard to assist the poor in education, to grow talented people and self employment programme in the district, and people from all religions are recognized and awarded by the association.                                              

Mullah Sayyed Ali Ibrahim inaugurated the programme.




















The Mullah, in his inaugural speech, congratulated Abdul Rouf who gave a start to such a programme and said that he has the ability to help people who are talented and thus develop society.

Raj Gopal, chief guest, said that artistes make people happy and still suffer in their personal life. He said that an artiste like Karibasavayya, who makes people happy through his acting, had his own suffering which other cannot see and this great event has recognized artistes from various fields of art who entertain the stressed people.

Some of the artistes felicitated on the occasion were Shoukath Padubidri, Aboobakar Faizal, Janardhan, Musthafa Puttur, Abdul Jabar Katipalla, Jagadish, Abbas Thannirbavi, Aboobakar Baddur, Ismail Ullal, A K Zuber, Abbas, Nagesh, Sherief Chokkabettu, Rahim B C Road, Basheer Ahamad, Ashraf Apollo, Prashanth Kumar, Chandrahas, Rajesh Anchan, Muhammed Sherief, Vishvanath, Yashwanth, Riyaz Salethoor, Zakriya Moodabidri, Ivan D’Souza, Akshatha, and Hasannabba Moodbidri.

Raj Gopal Rai, Ashraf G Bava, Poet Mohammed Baddur, artiste Rahim Uchil, Chandra Mohan, artiste Gopadkar, director artiste Ismail Moodushedde, and singer Hanief were among the guests present at the programme.

    Mr. Abdul Rauf is a model citizen of India and Mangalore in Particular. If there are more persons like him, communal disharmony in India will disappear in no time.

    During a certain function in Mangalore, he presented a christian family with a beautiful statue of Mother Mary.
    This is may be a small thing, but understanding and respecting the feelings of the people of other religions is something every one should emulate, irrespective of the fact whether they belive in other religions or not.
