Bantwal, Jun 2: "Almost all road works of over 15 roads connecting various temples in the taluk have been completed," said MLA Rajesh Naik.
He was speaking to the media persons during his visit on Wednesday June 2 to view the ongoing work on the road at a cost of Rs 2 crore to Mithamajalu Kshetra in Sajeepa Muda village, here.
"Already a proposal has been submitted to construct a road from the riverside to Shri Kshetra Nanadavara. The work will begin very soon. The work of the road connecting to the Sarapadi temple has been completed.
He also assured to complete the work on the road connecting Belluru Kavereshwara Temple.
He also added that during the lockdown, the work on over 100 roads has been completed and it will be inaugurated soon. Vivek Shetty Nagriguthu, Sajeepa Muda Gram Panchayat member Seetharam Agolibettu, Somanath Bangera Kanduru, Prashanth Poojary, and others were present.
