Kasargod, Jun 2: Kasargod District administration has partially relaxed the lockdown guidelines implemented to contain the spread of Covid-19, on Wednesday, June 2.
As per the official order the following rules are in place:
- Shops selling fruits, vegetables, milk products, hotels, bakeries, fish and meat cooperation can run their business from 7 am to 7.30 pm.
- Hotels and bakeries can only have takeaway service.
- Textile shops, jewellery shops (only online and home delivery) shall be open from 9 am to 5 pm. Those who come wedding shopping should have an invitation card as proof.
- Stationaries selling study materials will be open from 9 am to 5 pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
- Banks can function till 5 pm on Monday Wednesday and Friday.
- All factories can run with 50% of staff. The shops which provide raw materials to the factories can be open on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday till 5 pm.
- Workshops, tyre puncture repair shops, resole centres, vehicle showrooms, plywood workshops shall be open on Sunday from 9 am to 7.30 pm.
- Eye testing clinics, optical, hearing aid centres, prosthetics shops, repair shops including gas stove, electronic centres can be opened on Tuesday and Saturday.
- Automobile spare part shops will be open on Monday and Thursday.
- Shops related to the sale of construction materials will be open from 11 am to 6 pm.
- PDS shops can run from Monday to Saturday from 8.30 am to 2.30 pm.
- Stone-cutting shops are allowed to operate.
- Shops selling rain guards for rubber trees can function. While the ones selling forest products can be opened on Tuesday. Crusher, animal, and poultry feed selling shops can be opened from Monday to Saturday from 7 am to 7.30 pm.
- The vendors should ask the public to strictly adhere to the Covid guidelines. The public can exercise from 5 am to 7 am and 7 pm to 9 pm.
- Scrap dealers can shift their products two days a week.
- The toddy shops can sell only parcels.
