Mangalore, Aug 23: The National Students Union of India (NSUI), in collaboration with the National Youth Congress, organized a programme to identify young and competitive leaders at SDM College in the city on Monday August 23.

“This leadership programme is a process to unite students and make them leaders who can think and plan for the betterment of the nation. Being the best democratic nation in the world, the development of the nation should be the prime motto of the youth,” he said.
The NSUI will conduct elections which will be a transparent process, based on the membership that it will attract in a college.
“The youth will be encouraged to participate in elections as they should learn leadership qualities to be successful individuals. Colleges should encourage elections among students so as to great leaders into the present world,” added Shivakumar.
