Mangalore: Alwyn Paul Bags Bharat Kumar Title in National Level Body Building Competition

Mangalore, Aug 26: Alwyn Paul, Mangalorean coach at Universal Fitness Gym, Pumpwell, here bagged the title 'Bharat Kumar' at the national level body building competition held at Chhattisgarh, recently. Over 40 contestants from all over the country participated at the competition.
Thirty-year-old Alwyn Paul, son of Albert Paul is a well known name in the body buliding sports in Dakshina Kannada district. He has bagged several prominent awards that include third place in national level body building competition held in Mumbai during 2009 and Karnataka Kumar at the state level body building competition held in Bangalore during 2009- 10.
The other awards bagged by him during his career are Most Muscular award at the Dakshina Kannada district level Abhimanyu body building competition held at Moodbidri in 2008, Mr Dakshina Kannada at the district level body building competition held here during 2009 apart from bagging Champion of Champions award at the district level body building competition organized by Raymond’s Gym, here during 2010.
Mangaloreans Roshan Ferrao bagged the Bharat Shree title in the short class category in the national level body building competition held in Chhattisgarh, while Vincent Prakash Carlo secured fourth place in short class and Shodan Rai secured the first place in median class in the same competition.
