Mangalore: Sr Saritha, Headmistress of St Joseph‘s School Bid Farewell

Mangalore Sep 1: Sr Saritha, headmistress of St Joseph's Higher Primary School, Kulashekar here, who served the institution for seven years was bid a warm farewell on her retirement on Tuesday August 31.

Teacher of the school, Symprosia delivered the farewell address. Sr Norma, the acting headmistress welcomed the gathering. The correspondent of the school Fr Valerian Pinto honoured Sr Saritha.

Fr Valerian Pinto addressing the gathering said that Sr Saritha has rendered selfless service to the institution. The discipline she maintained is an example for her good administration in the school. She also faced problems at the school in a more disciplined way.

The old students' association president Susheel Noronha honoured Sr Saritha on behalf of the organization.

Sr Saritha addressing the gathering thanked everyone for the co-operation extended to her and recollected the time with all the students and teaching and non-teaching staff of the school.

Teacher Celine Montero proposed the vote of thanks.

The programme was conducted by teacher Lovisa D’Souza. Fr John Moras, Fr Arun Lobo, assistant parish priests Sr Liza and Sr Supriya of Santacruz Convent, managing committee member Edward Monteiro, Vidya Vas, Headmistress of St Josephs Highschool Sunitha, School pupil leader Riyan, Shane Menazes, Pavithra and Primal were present.

    Hello..I did my school at st.jospehs, nantur, kulashaker in the year of 1983 to 87, from 3rd stand to 7th stand, v had teacher callld sharda, bejai teacher for hindi n english i guesss,others i donnn rember i have feeling on my school,it was so wonderfulll, those childhood sweeet memories... as v were so young kids, used to come in rain,used to play,had lot of smalll treee in and around school, n v used to get some kind of laddu made on sweeetcorn,was yummy..watering in my moth evern today...welll i am doing very good in my life...in b,lore..infact once visistd...but not happy..i will come again..I hats off to my school.i am trying to find my friends...who did school along with me...i couldnt find anyone so far..probally i have to share about my school.
    I think Saritha madam..is the Head misssss.....v had someone i donn rember...madam my heartly wishes to u..i wannn hear more about my school.
