Mangalore Photography Club Holds Day-long Workshop on Basic Photography

Mangalore, Sep 1: The Mangalore Photography Club organized a second day-long photography workshop at the District Small Industries Association Yeyyadi here, recently.

The workshop was meant for beginners as well as advanced amateurs. Dr Krishna Mohan Prabhu, Rohit S Rao and Dijaraj Nair were the resource persons.

Morning session of the workshop dealt with topics like composition, lighting, focusing and photography concepts. The noon session focused on hands-on training in handling the camera and a detailed instruction on using various cameras, lens and accessories.

The participants were introduced to specialized fields of photography like wildlife and nature photography, portrait, still life photography, tabletop photography and macro or close-up photography.

The organizers also arranged an exhibition of world class camera equipment, lens’s, tripods and a host of accessories. As many as 30 people attended the workshop.
