Mumbai, Sep 6(IANS): Actress Mallika Sherawat makes her debut as a playback singer with her upcoming film "Hisss" and she is teamed up with John Lennon's son Julian to record one of the songs.

The actress recorded a song in a studio in Los Angeles recently, which will be released as part of the "Hisss" soundtrack and promotions.

"Mallika has recorded her voice singing two different songs. The first of the songs is composed and arranged by Julian Lennon, son of John Lennon from the iconic rock band The Beatles. Upon mixing of the track, the song will be sent to Mr. Lennon for approval," a source said in a statement.
