Mangalore, Sep 7: Key police officials and cyber cafe owners participated in an interactive session on digital database storage and cyber crime at the commissioner’s office on Monday September 6. About 180 cyber cafe owners participated in the programme.

Assistant commissioner of police (ACP) R Ramesh, said that most of the people don’t know about cyber crimes and laws. “Cyber cafe owners can install software called CLINCK cyber cafe manager, which was launched by Ideacts Innovations Pvt Ltd, India’s largest cyber cafe solutions company, which will also help in national security by securing their cafes”, he said.

Krishna Swami, head retailer, Ideacts Innovations, said that they began operations in 2007 in 260 cities across India. He said that Clinck software can be uploaded through the internet and also with some telephonic assistance from the company.

Swami added that the software is provided by the company free of cost to cyber cafes to track terrorists’ usage of cyber space to transfer information.  The software helps in all aspects of café management like accounting, terminal management, and user data storage while providing a convenient environment for users.

“This will also help the café owners to give out maximum information to law enforcement agencies including critical data like digital photo capture. A registered user can use his username across all over partner cafes in India without repeatedly providing information”, he added.

For further details on the software, Krishna Swami can be contacted at 9738010476.
