Mangaluru: 'Inclusion of Tulu in Eighth Schedule by Centre soon' - Minister Limbavali

Mangaluru, Jul 10: Aravind Limbavali, minister for Forest, Kannada and Culture visited Pilikula Biological Park on the outskirts of the city on Saturday July 10.

During his visit, answering query of scribes on the matter of including Tulu language to the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution, Limbavali said, “The central government has asked the state government to send the appeal in suitable format after scrutiny.

"In the wake of this a meeting was held a few days ago and the appeal is sent to the centre once again in suitable format. There is a possibility that the confirmation will be given soon," he said.
