Udupi, Sep 21: The  state committee of Centre for Indian Trade Union (CITU) will stage protest ‘Vidhan Soudha Chalo’ in Bangalore on Wednesday October 20 opposing anti-labour policies of union and state governments.

The state committee of CITU alleged that both the governments failed to address the burning issues of state labourers. The reigning government in state seems not bothered over the issues of labour and working class community. It’s unfortunate that illegality is the order in every sphere including ministers. The corruption is rampant in every sphere of public life. The grievances of both labourers and working class are totally ignored, they added.

The state committee of CITU issued a call for ‘Vidhan Soudha Chalo’, which is likely to be attended by over one lac people. Its office-bearers will present the memorandum with eight key demands to Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa on the occasion.

The state committee of CITU chief secretary S Prasanna Kumar, P G Dilip, CI Joseph, L Manjunath, Vishwanath Rai and Ramesh Kumar were present.
