Kasargod: Suspected propagation of ISIS ideologies - NIA questions two women

Daijiworld Media Network - Kasargod (SP)

Kasargod, Aug 19: National Investigation Agency (NIA) has subjected two women from Kannur, Kerala, to questioning on the suspicion that they were using social websites as a platform for popularising ISIS ideologies.

The ladies who were questioned were Shifa Haris (27) from Thane, Kannur, and Mija Siddique (25). They were arrested on Tuesday by the NIA officers.

After the NIA arrested Muhammed Ameen alias Abu Yahya from Malappuram district in 2015, it came to know that women were actively involved with ISIS. A number of citizens from Kerala are involved with publicizing material relating to ISIS, the NIA came to know. The arrest of Jufri Jawar Damudi from Bhatkal, Amar Abdul Rahman from Mangaluru and Venkatesh Perumal from Bengaluru simultaneously on August 6, the NIA found that they were actively involved with popularising ISIS by using Telegram, Instagram, Hoop, Facebook etc.

The women arrested from Kannur were educated in the Gulf after which they returned to their hometown and started to propagate ISIS principles. They also had recruited several youngsters for the job, it is said. Investigation is on. Mija Siddique had visited Bahrain a number of times in the past and she is said to have acquired expertise in convincing youngsters to get admitted into ISIS.

It may be recalled that the NIA had arrested youngsters from Padanna, Kollam and Anchal in Kerala during March this year.

Please stop hiding behind the minority card to gain support.. no one is worried about minorities..minortities are good... who go to church, monasteries, gurudwara or mosque.. but people are worried about terrorists who happen to use the "Minority" card and hail from a certain ideology to make their religious law , the law of the he land

Mangalore too is not a saints land for all those you point fingers at Kerala. There are many sleeper cells in DK. Most of the Mallu criminals are holed up here in Mangalore. The code word in kerala among criminals ''go underground'' is 'go and hide in Mangalore'. Thanks to the past Govt who facilitated these move for vote bank purposes.

Kerala has very less employment options and hence semi-educated youth mostly find easy way of livelihood by joining organizations like ISIS and thereby bring bad name to their parents and the state. Root cause is the so called trade unions supported by political parties of Kerala who never allowed any business or industry to prosper.

The state terrorism continues unabated to terrorize minorities into submission and render them second class. All such fake arrests will eventually make either the minorities submit or revolt. If latter then Hindutva will have difficult time to keep this country as one.

@ aam aadmi...There are thousands of minorities who live around us livin' peacefully with all the rights and freedom but ,we haven't seen anyone get arrested for fake reasons. Did you get falsely accused and arrested? If your answer is no, stop cribbing about being targeted and oppressed and most importantly stop sympathising with terrorists. No one wil get arrested without any proof or unless they have any links to terrorists. If you want to know what it feels like to live without any freedom, imagine yourself as one of those million aghans trying to flee the country. You will get a fair idea. Here you enjoy all your rights to live as anyone else, infact more rights than any of you so called oppressed minorities enjoy anywhere in the world, your daughters have freedom to education and employment and yet...you crib!!

That is Charbi because India bent backward to keep them happy here after partition. . If they were allowed to go to their land of Islam - they would know the real treatment of being Non Punjabi Muslim non Pathan Muslim in Pakistan. Here unless they need to be identified no one would know anyone which religion they belong while walking on the road . Because of this behaviour the majority population of India is supporting CAA - otherwise it is heart wrenching to see women and children of Afghanistan crying for help - any Indian wants to rescue them. But , these 0.0001 % Of bigots are putting fear into 99.99999 percent one India. Let Mango Person also know that , no Islamic nation worth the salt have come forward to help these poor people - it’s non Islamic nation to are crying for them and fighting with their govt to find a solution even though there is fear of getting cultural invasion on long run.

Unlimited liberty means bindaas to them. These people are taking undue advantage of the freedom guaranteed by the country’s constitution. And still they are unsafe in the country. In Russia or China people involved in such nefarious activities just disappear from the scene, never return again. Even media is not permitted to publish any news about such people.
