Udupi: Students write exam after en-route accident, suffering injuries

Udupi, Aug 20: The determination and grit of two students, who wrote the examination in spite of getting injured in the accident, is lauded by the public.

Masaid and Wajeed, students of Bhandarkar’s College Kundapur are the ones who reported for the examination in the ambulance itself.

Masaid went for Shiroor to Gangolli on his bike to pick his friend Wajid and both were proceeding to the college to write the first degree examination. They met with an accident with another bike at Kodapadi.

Severely injured duo were taken to a private hospital of the taluk by Apathbandhava ambulance manager Ibrahim Gangolli and team. After getting first aid, the students were taken to the college in the same ambulance. The college administration allowed both students to write the examination. After the examination both students went to the hospital for further treatment.
