‘I am safe’, confirms Sr Theresa Crasta from Afghanistan to Daijiworld

Mangaluru, Aug 20: Sr Theresa Crasta, from Bela Periyadka Kasargod, who is reportedly stranded in strife-ridden Afghanistan, has sent a message, that she is safe in a convent in Kabul.

Speaking exclusively to Daijiworld, Sr Theresa informed that she is serving in an Italian institution and the institution has taken all safety measures to take her and others to Italy.

"As there is confusion in Kabul airport, there is no entry to the airport. Thus, travel has been postponed.

"We are in touch with the Indian Embassy. I thank everyone who cooperated with us during this time of distress," she said.
