Bengaluru, Aug 21: The video of a woman ragpicker from the city, in which she is seen speaking clear and fluent English, has become viral. Social media users are taken aback by the confidence and pronunciation of the lady.

The video was first posted by an Instagram user, Sachina Heggar. As per the video, the woman's name is Cecilia Margaret Lawrence. It is said that in the past, she had lived in Japan for six years.

Sachina spoke to the lady when she was picking the waste from the streets of Sadashiva Nagar here. She was baffled when the lady started singing in between the conversation. The style with which she rendered the song surprised Sachina. She says that stories are always around us but to take notice, one has to stop and look around. "Some of the stories are beautiful while some are tragic. What is life without some flowers? I want to be in touch with this lady with wonderful vigour and dynamism. If any of you come across the lady, please contact me," Sachina has requested.

In another video, Sachina has described this lady as an actress. This video has gone viral in the social media and internet users are overawed by the lady's singing, command over English and style of speaking. One of them commented that this is inspirational. "I like the way she said she was not alone. May god bless her and you," he said. Another one said after watching the video, he learnt a new lesson that no one should be assessed from their outward appearances. "Everyone has a past and something keeps happening in their lives," he commented. Some users said that Cecilia visits Holy Ghost Church Bengaluru every Sunday without fail.

We have seen plenty of such cases in Mangalore itself. I remember there was a man who was doing his medicine, but was roaming on streets and died in an accident -fell under no. 5 bus in 1983. Such a sad case. We have to pray for such people. And we have to do good in life.

It seems like she was from a very reputed family background. The way she spoke about how she had travelled to japan and worked there for 14 years and how her mother was a officer in vidhana soudha. Sad to see how hard life is from riches to rags. I hope everything goes well for her
