Bantwal: Providential escape for boy who comes under speeding car

Bantwal, Sep 20: A boy survived miraculously after coming under a car near Ira in Bantwal taluk. The whole incident is recorded on the CCTV.

Manoj (12), son of Shivananda, is the fortunate boy, who has received injuries but escaped from certain death.

He came out of the house running and went straight on to the road to cross it. The car which was approaching hit him head-on and went over him. However, by providence, the boy survived. However, his left leg was broken in the impact.

A case in this connection is registered.

    Please share this video to all KG to 10th standard students, educate them how to cross the road. All pedestrians crossing road need to be signed and warning lights should be added. I know it is India but just dreaming one more dream......acha din ayega...mera bharth badal ho gaye ga.......

    The same thing happened nearby but this time the vehicle was a scooter and in trying to avoid the boy he fell and was badly injured.

    Lucky boy hope he will get well soon. Here canot blame car driver. The boy suddenly running to cross the road. Car driver canot stop the car immediately.

    Thank God, the boy is safe and learnt a lesson. Thank God there was CCTV record ing otherwise the car driver would have been blamed. Wishing the boy speedy recovery.

    Really he had only Providential help.Thank God ,he is not effected from other injury and is alive.Thank God ,.he must celebrate his birthday twice a year.drivers too dont know to lessen their speed in heavy traffic roads to lessen.Sure children are so.without thinking cross over road .
