Thousands of Devotees Partake in Navaratri Utsav at Kavale Mutt in Walkeshwar

Mumbai, Oct 20: Navaratri Utsav was held with Vedic rites and pomp at Kavale Mutt in Banganga, Walkeshwar, here recently.
Swami Shivanand Saraswati of Kavale Mutt performed various Vedic rituals throughout the nine-days of Navaratri Utsav. He also has embarked on Chaturmasa celebrations which would last till November 21.
Bhajans and talent contests for the children were held during the cultural programme.
Walkeshwar Kavale Mutt president, T V Shenoy, secretary Ajith Nadkarni, treasurer Chintamani Nadkarni, Chaturmasa committee president D M Sukthankar, secretary Kamalaksha Saraf, treasurer Kiran Vaidya, Mutt overseer Praveen Kanvende, chief priest Shantaram Bhat, manager Uday Anavnkar, Suresh Kasare, Public Relation Officer Prashant Shenoy, Ganesh Shanbagh and thousands of devotees participated in puja celebrations on the occasion.
