MR.Rahul, Are you resident of India? Don't you pay tax in any form. Simple, VAT. Just In Udupi, at Dayna do your breakfast. See how much is VAT? , I think, you are thinking high end - Income tax. Income tax is not only one tax we pay to Govt. All taxes are goes to Govt treasury, whether it is Central or state, each and every public pay tax in one or the other form.

All the comments have frowned upon such visit by the president. Fair enough. But Rastrpathi won't come to know about it. what is to be done is to write a humble letter to Rastrapathy Bhavan stating the inconvenience caused by such visit and waste of taxpayer's money. When many such opinions are expressed it may make difference only when it reaches his office in writing, though email and fax. That the Rastrapathy travelled in the times of when covid norms are in force is in itself a contraindication to the citizens.

Even though he is President of India, it is as per protocol to provide all facilities for hos private and personal visit? Feel pity for Police force around Mangalore without water and food. Is our Country is democratic? If he really love Indian people, should have informed not to create panic in name of security and putting human life in out of gear.

This is how thousands of crores of hard earned tax payers money is spent on lavish lifestyle of few and at the same time the government has no money to pay wages of contract labour, Anganwadi attendants and many others and that's why we will never be a developed country for next few centuries. Jai ho .... Mera Bharat Mahan...!!!

Chandu Karla, just please tell me the President is visiting Sringeri?on private or official visit? If Official it is paid by your tax money ok.suppose he is visiting private I find you and others right ,he should visit this with his own. Here too one President had to get down from his seat because of using taxpayers money. No question. Why so many cars and another chartered heli on the way I dont understand. He could have used the normal flight with first class. Chandu karla just tell me one thing, here President has used the Heli to Srinagar ,to visit private or on Official? When official is ok.when private have to pay his own. Here one president had to get down from his post because he used the private offer from one person .But he could go also by normal flight first class .

Dear President and his entourage, As a concerned citizen and taxpayer of this great nation, I would like it if you didn't travel on taxpayer money. Apart from that, the inconvenience you've caused with your arrival at the airport and to the entire city of Mangalore is extremely frowned upon. Your holiday has caused inconvenience to thousands of us, from the standstill of traffic to the interruption at the hotel where your entourage is staying at. City officials may have improved the roads and places where you may be traveling, while leaving the rest of the city miserable. I hope you understand, don't visit us again Thank You A Concerned Citizen
