Kannada Balaga of Borivili (E) Celebrates ‘Rajyotsava’

Mumbai, Nov 2:
The Kannada Balaga of suburban Borivali (East) organized ‘Karnataka Rajyotsava’ celebrations here on Monday November 1.  A large number of Tulu–Kannadigas settled in the metro attended the event.
 
‘Satyanarayana puja’ and other Vedic rites were performed as part of the Rajyotsava celebrations on Monday morning.  Rangaswamy Gowda and Saraswati R Gowda participated in the ‘puja’.  The temple priest Balakrishna Bhat performed the rite. 



Local MLA Gopal C Shetty was the chief guest on the occasion.
 
Corporator Shirik Chowgule, Adi Chunchanagiri Seva Samiti Mumbai yane Okkaligara Sangh – Maharastra president Narayan R Gowda, vice-president Rangappa C Gowda, Jayalaxmi Co-operative Credit Society chairman K Raje Gowda, social worker Harry R Sequeira Ferrar and others were the guests of honour present on the occasion.
 
Kannada Bala–Borivili puja committee president Gujje Gowda and organizer Ramakrishna Gowda honoured the guests.

    Hope Mr. Raj Thackeray & sena is not aware for this program called Rajyotsava or other wise Local MLA Gopal C Shetty would have remain LOCAL ONLY in Borivali.
