Udupi, Nov 11: A man filed a complaint against a bus staff for insulting and slapping him here.

Ananth Naik (54), resident of Kubri House, Shivapura village in Hebri taluk who currently resides near Karavali Bypass Udupi had visited the supermarket on Malpe road along with friend, Sanjeeva Shetty, on November 9 evening.

At 7.25 pm, he was crossing the road near Karavali bus stand in Moodanidamboor village when a private bus bearing registration no. KA20-4288 came that way. The bus driver was reportedly driving the bus at high speed and recklessly. Sanjeeva Shetty, showing a very good presence of mind, somehow saved Ananth Naik from the prospects of getting crushed under the bus wheels.

In rainy season always drive slow to drivers and walk carefully to pedestrians because visibility is low and breaking is difficult in these situations We must be careful I feel sad every time i see a accident case which in my view can be prevented

yeah crossing blindly in a hurry without looking right or left with full absent mindedness then blaming motorist's. one golden rule to remember is drivers of heavy commercial vehicles foot will always be on accelerator pedal not on brake pedal.. this is not UAE where motorists stop and give way for pedestrians, taking care of ones life is very important in a country where there is ZERO TRAFFIC SENSE.
