Mumbai, Nov 10 (IANS) Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Ajit Pawar, nephew of party chief Sharad Pawar and a state minister, was Wednesday chosen the next deputy chief minister of Maharashtra after Chhagan Bhujbal.
Pawar was elected as deputy to Prithviraj Chavan, who was selected the Congress to replace Ashok Chavan as chief minister, by NCP legislators. The state is ruled by a Congress-NCP coalition.
