Bengaluru, Nov 19: Karnataka on Friday, November 19, registered 242 new coronavirus cases.
As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 7,258. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally stood at 144.
As many as 4 deaths due to coronavirus were reported in the state on Friday, the death toll in the state has risen to 38,169.
The state recorded 329 discharges from hospitals on Friday, taking the total discharges to 29,47,683.
So far, Karnataka has seen 29,93,139 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
The positivity rate for the day stands at 0.26% while the case fatality rate for the day is 1.65%.
As many as 6,98,22,850 people have received vaccination so far.
