Puttur: SSLC student turns mother - Accused being interrogated by police

Puttur, Nov 20: A tenth standard girl student gave birth to a female baby through normal delivery. A person named as accused has been taken into custody by the Uppinangady police for questioning.

The parents of the said girl student of a high school who found that the abdominal region of the girl seemed like increasingly swelling over the past weeks, felt that some kind of tumour was developing inside. They therefore admitted her into a hospital where the doctors said she was pregnant and her delivery date was expected soon. On Thursday, she gave birth to a female child in normal delivery in a hospital near Mangaluru.

The medical officers of the hospital had brought the matter to the notice of Uppinangady police. When approached, the girl gave the name of the person who raped her and fathered her daughter as Keshav (34) from Madmettimar House, Hirebandady vllage. Keshav, who is unmarried, was taken into custody and questioned.

Keshav has been booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act in a case registered in Uppinangady police station.

    What a joke Mother self couldnt makeout what is wrong with daughter ?She herself was pregnent once and know the changes in a girl and admitted the girl in hospital thinking tumour?Can only laugh at their stupidity.why she didnt ask and made inquiry when changes took place in early months?Not knew how girl was missing or came late home ?Parents didnt fulfill their duty as parents to care them.Not only abdomen but her chest also shows changes means ,tumour?No ,not even uneducated people know this.well now ,girl is in trouble.whether this fellow will marry her or leave her without marrying and go elsewhere to cheat another girl ?Arrest him immediately.he has to take care of this child and pay them necessary compansation.

    There is more to it than you think. This is one of those cases where young girls are let loose by their parents and they make maja maja with whoever cajoles them. Parents must also be booked for neglecting their obligation to be responsible parents.
