Udupi: Three students drown in Bhatrady rivulet, bodies retrieved

Udupi, Nov 26: In tragic incident, three students studying in Hiriadka pre-university college died due to drowning in Bhatrady rivulet near Mullugudde under the limits of Shivapura gram panchayat of Hebri taluk on Friday November 26.

The deceased are identified as Sudarshan (16), Sonit (17) and Kiran (16).

The mortal remains were recovered from the rivulet with the help of locals.

Hebri tahsildar Purandar, revenue inspector Hithesh, sub inspector Mahesh, leaders Suresh Shetty Shivapura and Ramesh Poojary visited the spot and took necessary action.

    What to write of today’s youth . They take life too easy and do not understand the pain and suffering of their family. So many young lives are being lost due to reckless driving, bad behavior, uncouth culture and a unhealthy lifestyle. There is no end to this unless all children of impressionable age are given compulsory education and military training. All we learn to follow the law and become good citizens

    He just expressed his mental status in bracket. This is just horrifying news. So sad for the parents. But alas , the losers will take pride in bringing politics even here , bcz they have no heart. And they live forever
