Mangaluru, Dec 2: Governor of Karnataka, Thawar Chand Gehlot, is on tour of coastal districts to participate in various programmes from December 2 to 5.
Gehlot arrived in the city on Thursday December 2 at the international airport. He was welcomed by the district administration.
Deputy commissioner Dr Rajendra K V, CEO of zilla panchayat Dr Kumar, city police commissioner N Shashi Kumar, superintendent of police of Dakshina Kannada district Hrishikesh Bhagwan Sonawane, assistant commissioner Madan Mohan and other senior officials of the district administration welcomed the governor.
Later, the governor left for Dharmasthala to attend a scheduled programme.
