Mangaluru, Dec 4: World Bunts Foundation Trust felicitated Padma Vibhushan Dr B M Hegde here at Hotel Moti Mahal on Saturday December 4.

Receiving the felicitation, Dr B M Hegde said, “I thank each and everyone for felicitating me. World Bunts Trust should grow and continue its service. I have not done anything great, but as a doctor I have done my service since several years. I want to say that to be successful we need to work by our own without interfering in others’ work. That will make us successful.”

Chairman of World Bunts Foundation Trust Dr A J Shetty welcomed the gathering, Treasurer CA P Raghuchandra Shetty and Manohar Prasad compered the event.

Cultural ambassador of coastal Karnataka in gulf region Sarvottam Shetty, entrepreneur and philanthropist Dr B R Shetty, secretary Sudhir Kumar Shetty, project director Dr B Sanjeeva Rai, vice chairman Kushal S Hegde, K Sacchidananda Hegde and others were present.

    I like to listen to Dr Hegde's views on so many topics . He is infact a special thinker . Having said this ,Felicitation of Dr Hegde by this World bunts foundation is a bit of cuckoo thing for me. Bunts today are lacking a honest and truthful leaders . All are behind personal Ego and Image ..We do not see Bunt men of the caliber of AB Shetty (founder of Vijaya bank) .

    I frequently watch videos' of Dr Hegde where in he blames pharmaceutical companies, allopathic doctors, hospital systems which are minting money from patients. BTW, he was also doing same thing until retirement. He also went with flow when he was in KMC. He prescribed enough medicines to his patients and he was not against KMC Management for luring money from patients. I'm not against Dr. Hegde for his personal views. I request M/s. World Bunt Sanga team to facilitate Dr. B.R. Shetty who is in difficult times. He provided employment to thousands of unemployed. Because of him today thousands having bread & butter of life.
