Bengaluru: Married two years ago, lady software engineer ends life

Bengaluru, Dec 11: A woman techie living within the limits of Amritahalli police station in the city ended her life. She got married about two years ago.

The victim was Sangeeta (26), resident of Veerana Palya. Her husband Vinay has been arrested and questioned.

Sangeeta was from Mndya. She was in love with Vinay for the last four years and the two married two years back. They stayed in Veeranapalya. Both worked for multinational companies as software engineers. It is learnt that the couple lived happily initially before differences arose on the issue of not having children. Reportedly, Vinay was harassing his wife as he was angry that she did not become pregnant.

Sangeeta left behind a death note before hanging herself at her home on Thursday December 9 evening. The police who arrived at the spot, conducted checks and sent the body for post-mortem. Amritahalli police have registered the case and take up investigation.

    It is so sad ,that a young woman had to suicide for a small issue.They could have waitied for some time .Husband saw in her only as a bear maschine?They could have gone to a doctor and inform themselves.Simply suicide is not good .May her soul rest in peace.Heartfelt symapathy to her family.They both could have discussed the matter of having a family before the marriage
