One more Omicron case detected in Bengaluru, tally rises to three

Bengaluru, Dec 12: In fresh worry for Karnataka, another care of Omicron variant of coronavirus has been detected in the state, taking the total number of cases to three.

Health minister Dr K Sudhakar on Sunday December 12 said that the new case of Omicron has been detected in the capital city.

The person infected with Omicron arrived in Bengaluru from South Africa. The 34-year-old has been isolated and is being treated in a government hospital, the minister said.

All the five primary and 15 secondary contacts of the infected individual have been traced. Samples of all the contacts have been sent to lab testing.

The state government has taken several precautions to control the spread of Omicron.

The government has also released guidelines for the discharge of Omicron infected patients.

Demand for vaccines has increased in the city as all the three cases so far detected are from the capital.

    No need to worry, get vaccinated get boosters? But if these boosters only deadlier than omicron and give rise to another strain and wave omicron 2.1.50xxx or Xi or Phi ? it is not surprising ? Good money to vaccine mafia
