Right-wing activists stop 'conversion bid', burn religious books

Kolar, Dec 12 (IANS): Tension prevailed in Karnataka's Srinivasapura town in Kolar district as Hindu activists stopped Christian missionaries from distributing religious books to the local residents and burnt the religious books and pamphlets, the police said on Sunday.

Four persons who were distributing books and pamphlets at a Hindu locality were handed over to the police.

Local residents who gathered at the spot following the incident on Saturday demanded police action to prevent "such conversion bid in future or else they will stage a protest".

According to police, the group objected to distribution of books to people. They also alleged that people who came from Chintamani gathered at a house and attempted religious conversion acts.

The police in Srinivasapura have registered a case, and are investigating the matter.

So far, the police have not arrested anyone.

The incident which took place ahead of the Karnataka Assembly's Winter Session scheduled to begin from Monday is likely to be raised by the Congress leaders.

The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party is all set to table new law banning forceful religious conversions in the state which is expected to create furore in assembly.

While other countries love Christians unlike what is happening in india. It is not only elections but to advance business gains for rich hindutvadi bhakts in western countries by showing solidarity. While we sit commenting these hindutvadi take all the actions internationally and fund hatred in India. While we are happy with small menial jobs abroad they send their kids for higher studies in western countries so that they get good high paid jobs abroad. These hindutvadi are also doing business all over western countries and funding their politicians and bhakts in India. High time uplift secular deserving kids for studies in big university abroad. Try to place secular Indian diplomats in foreign parliaments, start and endorse businesses of secular Indians. High time all Hindus, muslims, Christians, jains, sikhs all like-minded Indians rise above religion and fake hatred created by hindutvadi masters and bhakts. Expose them internationally and deport them. Once funding stops everything else will stop. This is only way to bring back brotherhood and peace in India before country becomes another Taliban ruled. High time act now peacefully and intellectually. These hypocrites in India scream conversion and royally go to Christian countries to earn dollars and do business at that time are they not scared of conversion. Bishops and cardinals , Pope's advisors, all christain beuracrats should ban iskon, mata amritya, triple Sri who are converting foreigners in full scale.

Whatvaction do they take when others convert to Hinduism.. how is this ok. Dec 31, 2021 will be last date for Christians and Muslims in India: DJS Leader. Our target is to make India a Hindu Rashtra by 2021. The Muslims and Christians don’t have any right to stay here. “So they would either be converted to Hinduism or forced to run away from here,” Uttar Pradesh DJS head Rajeshwar Singh said. He was reacting to the arrest of Nand Kishore Valmiki, a DJS activist. Such is the cowardly acts of fundoos (fundamentals) We the Christians don't want to kill any humans yet we give life to them.

We are living in a democratic country. There is law and order in this beautiful country. Nobody can force or stop to someone to buy anything or convert anyone. If an individual want to change his religion that is his choice. Who are we to stop him or punish. There are many religion In this country and we follow what religion our ancestors followed. God is one to all of us and God always tells us to do good and avoid sins. Punishing anyone, taking law unto your hands, killing others or killing yourself , hate and jealous of others is not the God 's teaching. Be good, live good life by loving others, care for each others, stay safe and stay healthy...

throw all Sanghi aupporters and leaders from Western countries and Middle east. Stripe of their citizenship then these idiots will learn a big lesson back home. These idiots are afraid of their faith. This shows how week their idrology and fsith is. If just distributing books and pamphlets caused fear in them of being converted then this clearly shows that they don't have faith in their religion. Every human has the right to understand and know the true God and that's the most fundamental right of every human on earth. Each one of us have to make others understand what God is, if someone is practicing dummy Gods coz of their ignorance. No matter what punishment, don't stop preaching true God with debates, approaching people etc. This punishment is nothing from the punishment of God when we stop making fellow humans to walk in right path. These kind of hurdles existed even before through cruel kings and their severe punishment, but believers had strong faith and they didn't deter to stop from preaching and bringing fellow ignorant humans from anarchy.

This is my take: In many US states people are drifting away from God. In many cases which I have read PLACES OF CHRISTIAN WORSHIP ARE CONVERTED INTO PLACES OF PLEASURE. In a few cases some properties have been sold to other religious groups who have converted such properties into their place of worship. Very few pious and devout Americans can be found attending churches. Most of them are in pursuit of pleasure. It is a sorrowful state of affairs. And the wrath of the Lord descended. Now God will strike his Rod and bring back those Americans who have gone astray.

YOU WILL FIND ANY NUMBER OF WAYWARD YOUTHS HANGING OUT IN PUBS, CASINOS, BEACHES ETC. VERY FEW PEOPLE WHO ARE PIOUS & DEVOUT, ARE FOUND ATTENDING CHURCHES. Whoever it is distributing religious books to the people ,doesnt mean conversion.Anyone can distribute it,,is like any other advt.of pictures or food stuffs .Only not allowed is pressurizing people to conversion or such action,by distributing some money or other material connecting to religion. There are many religious counterparts in India ,not only christians ,muslims Hindus ,too.We have the right to accept or not ,read or throw it.It is left to each one.But not try to assault on people who do it.People who dont want any such books can deny it instead of accepting it.

Where is the proof here for forced conversion if this story is real. There is no restriction for propagation and promoting of faith by right but same should not be construed as forced conversion. There are religious outdoor ceremonies, processions, celebrations, dramas etc etc it’s not considered as forced conversion by law.
