Udupi: KSRTC spreads awareness on vaccination - Prints messages on tickets

Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi (SP)

Udupi, Dec 13: The district administration here has been coordinating its efforts to achieve 100 percent vaccination by ensuring that everyone gets both doses of the anti Covid19 vaccine. It has drawn support from health, revenue and other departments to achieve this feat.

Karnataka Stare Road Transport Corporation Ltd (KSRTC) has joined these efforts by printing 'two doses of Covid-19 vaccination compulsory, wear masks compulsorily' on its tickets. The novel initiative undertaken by KSRTC to create awareness among the passengers using its services and the people of the district in general, has come in for lavish praise of the deputy commissioner of the district, Kurma Rao M.

The deputy commissioner has called upon other departments and corporations also to take cue from the above and get involved with creating awareness about covidd-19 among the general public, and advised the malls, cinema halls and other shops to print messages like the above which create awareness about the need to get vaccinated, in their bills, receipts etc.
