London, Nov 29 (IANS) Singer Ricky Martin was overjoyed and surpirsed when his parents accepted his sexuality and expressed their unconditional love for him.
Martin came out of the closet in March this year after fighting his feelings for years, and was prepared for a difficult talk with his parents, but was surprised when his parents revealed they were already aware of his homosexuality.
"My mother asked me if I was in love with a man, I thought, 'Wow, this is gonna be easier than what I thought' and said, 'Yes mum, it's a man'. Then she said, 'Come on, give me a hug, you're my son and I love you, I will always be here for you' and I was extremely surprised," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Martin as saying..
