Udupi, Dec 23: Bizness Klass Ventures (BKV) Holidays & Visa’s new office premise was inaugurated at Manipal Commercial Complex on December 19.
Purushottam Shetty, entrepreneur inaugurated the new office, and Sumithra Nayak, president, Udupi City Municipality inaugurated the formal function by lighting the lamp. Pramod Madhwaraj, former minister, Yashpal Survarna, president, DK & Udupi District Cooperative Fishing Federation Ltd, Manohar Shetty, MD, Sai Radha Groups of Concerns, Vathika Kamath, promoters Nirmala Travels, Sadanand Shettigar, retired subject inspector, DDPI office, Ravi Shettigar, businessman and promoters Arun Kumar and Hariprasad were present.
Inaugurating the new venture, Sumithra Nayak said, "Due to Covid, all activities were stalled. Tourism is booming and people are travelling now. With this new venture, new hopes are raised again in the tourism industry. Right guidance is important for people travelling to different parts of the country and internationally. May this new venture get all support from tourism lovers.”
Yashpal Survarna said, "The district has wide opportunities in the tourism sector. Proper support is needed to promote our tourist spots. By using the facilities available within our district, we need to promote tourism. There are a variety of spots in the district to spend weekends.”
Stressing upon employment opportunities in tourism industry Manohar Shetty said, "Through the promotion of agriculture and fishing, our district has been gaining prime spot on the tourism map. Employment opportunities for the local youths are increasing which will in turn contribute in revenue.”
