Karkala, Dec 27: Sequeira’s JB Coconut Industries premises was inaugurated in Nakre on December 25. Walter Nandalike, founder, Daijiworld media inaugurated the new premises.
Sumi Chandran, chief manager, Canara Bank Manipal branch inaugurated the machinery division along with Boniface and Juliana Sequeira, parents of Danold Sequeira, proprietor, JB Coconut Industries.
Wishing success to the young entrepreneur Danold Sequiera, Walter Nandalike said, "Today, on the day of Christmas, a new industrial venture has been inaugurated. Let this business prosper in thousand folds. I had been to my parents’ house to celebrate Christmas. On being invited by Danold, even on this festival day, I came here just to support this young entrepreneur. In the times where businesses are waiting for good days to come, and amidst people losing jobs, Danold has begun this business. He is an engineering graduate. He could have applied for a good job and earned good amount of money. But he has chosen to start his own business in his native. Youths should be inspired by this. He has taken this step with great courage.”
Coco Fresh coconut oil products were also launched by the guests on the occasion.
Sumi Chandran said, "Danold has worked hard to set this industry up. After completing his graduation, he made up his mind to begin this business and approached our bank. Young people should come forward in setting up businesses. Many government schemes are also available for industrial setup. Banks are ready to help in these matters. Let this industry succeed and become a top exporter in the market.”
Shashimani Sampath, gram panchayat member also urged the locals to support Danold in his new venture and wished great success in upcoming days.
Danold Sequeira is an engineering graduate from MIT Manipal. After completing his graduation, he has now begun JB Coconut Industries in his native in Nakre, with an aim to continue his ancestral business. The industry is producing coconut oil and other coconut by-products.
Veeru, branch manager, Canara Bank Moodubelle branch, family members and others were present.
