From Our Special Correspondent

Bengaluru, Dec 27: Even as the State Government is under pressure from the business community, especially pubs, restaurants, hotels as well as clubs over the decision to impose strict night curfew of 10 pm till 5 am throughout Karnataka from Tuesday 10 pm till January 7, 5 am, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Monday clarified that the decision was taken in the interest of public health and there was no question of reconsidering.

The business community is distressed and deeply hurt that the night curfew and the ban on social events, public gatherings and other functions from in connection with New Year celebrations from December 30 to January 2 as well as the night curfew restrictions would seriously affect their business, which is already hit due to the various restrictions on account of Covid pandemic.

The Chief Minister was speaking to media representatives after distributing solatium of Rs 1 lakh is being paid to BPL families of those who lost their lives due to Covid in all districts and taluks. A programme in this regard is being held in Bengaluru as well, he said.

Reacting to displeasure among the business community against the night curfew he said the measure has been taken in the interest of public health. People would have to strictly follow Covid norms at tourist spots.

High Command to decide on Cabinet Expansion

The Chief Minister said the BJP State Executive Committee meeting to be held in Hubballi would discuss issues related to party organisation and other developments.

The meeting, which is held once every two months, would take important decisions, Bommai said.

Replying to a question about much expected cabinet expansion, Bommai said it is an internal matter of the party and the party high command would take a call on that.

There is good coordination between the party and the administration. The government will come up with more good programmes in the days ahead and seek public mandate in 2023 on the basis of its good work for the people, he said.

CM dedicates 40 e-buses, 150 BS6 diesel buses

The Chief Minister dedicated 40 electricity charged buses and 150 BS6 diesel buses purchased by the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) under the Smartcity project in front of Vidhana Soudha on Monday.

Transport Minister B Sriramulu, Cooperation Minister S T Somashekar, P C Mohan, MP, BMTC Chairman Nandish Reddy and others were present at the function.

Slowly night curfew, slowly increase common cold omicron figures then day curfew slowly increase flu deaths figures then month long curfew, more deaths then slowly extend for months, then business losses, bankruptcy looks like all communist state control policies with all artificial food and production shortages, controlled and guided by elite and communists. Now deadly boosters have already started working in western countries showing their real deadly colors so this scapegoat OMICRON and to push same DELTA boosters here also to create another deadly wave of death. By the way Omicron boosters will come only after march, then again take these deadly boosters. Either die by BigPharma's first dose or second dose of vaccine or 1 st booster or 2nd booster. Big Plans by elite communists and politicians worldwide dance to their tune? to bring whole world under communist control after communists put weak US president now trying conquer the world through virus and vaccine. Looks like politicians worldwide selling their countries for hefty bigpharma commission.

It's time for politicians to keep off worrying about our health while worrying more about marketing of failed vaccines to improve their financial health. We are not small kids who need spoon feeding. Give us back our freedoms taken away in the guise of fake pandemic as more and more people are getting to know the modus operandi of keeping fear and panic through fake narrative and unscientific mandates.

Correct me if I'm not mistaken. All omnicron cases are asymptomatic. Plus in india vaccination has covered almost all people. Then why these restrictions?

You are wrong. Mild symptoms and fewer deaths. Not asymptomatic. It's the dominant variant in the UK and there's still deaths there.

Following what CEO of vaccine developer BioNTech has to say recently, Also Following means emergency approved vaccines, boosters are useless ? Why hurriedly they brought out vaccines before the variants ? To push vaccines and boosters like yearly flu vaccines which gives protection to particular seasonal flu only ? but spike generating covid vaccines are more deadly to humanity ? As after these spiked vaccinations sudden heart attacks have increased ? "The COVID-19 vaccine shots won’t be enough to combat the omicron variant, according to Ugur Sahin, the CEO of vaccine developer BioNTech. “We must be aware that even triple-vaccinated are likely to transmit the disease,” he told French daily Le Monde." These Vaccines or virus transmitters ? or promoting 4th or 5th boosters?

Look , our CM and others also not wearing Mask . No Social distancing . They are thinking Corona is sleeping in the day time, and waking up only at night . That is the reason of Night Curfew. Morning get together, Prize distribution, attending program (WITHOUT MASK ) also OK.
