Udupi, Dec 16: A person, who had hired a room in a lodge here, committed suicide on Wednesday December 15. He had given his name as Nataraj (33) from Bommanahally in Hosadurga taluk in Chitradurga district.
The lodge employees observed that Nataraj had not ventured out of his room since December 13 evening. As he did not respond to their knocks, they informed the policemen on Wednesday. The policemen, who broke open the door, found blood oozing out of the man’s mouth.
The policemen have registered a case of unnatural death, duly mentioning that the deceased had consumed some poisonous substance.
