Sheela aunty as we called her, was my music teacher. We were one of her first batches of students 30 years back. She also accompanied us kids on our bharatnatyam recitals. It was different those days when the natavanga and music was all provided live and we needed to be aware of each other's cues. She used to be so in tune with our dance steps that if we made a mistake on stage, she immediately glossed it over by adjusting her lyrical timing and all was smooth. I wasn't especially gifted in carnatic music and largely attended it as a part of my bharatnatyam training. So each time Sheela aunty asked me to sing solo, I would be super nervous, fishing out my Vicks inhaler to sniff which for some vague reason I assumed will clear my airway and make me sing better, a habit she remarked on very recently when I met her at a wedding. That's her, I'll remember her elegance, the soft giggle when she saw us goof up, her charm, her silk sarees and mallige during our performances, and her jewelled nose-stud I focused on to avoid getting intimidated. I had to share this here since I have no other way to reach out to her family...she was a superstar for me. Om Shanti... Go in peace

SHEELA & SHAILA they were TWIN sister. I have seen them one of their program in Ullala. Sad to hear the news. 30

Sad to see losing life untimely these days. One of the adverse effects of Astra Zeneka vaccine is blood clots causing either cardiac arrest or strokes and lungs getting clots requiring surgery. In rare cases it has been noted brain haemorrhage too. Anyway RIP Sheela Diwakar.

Without any malice to your comments, (although I am neutral) could you please explain how Astra Zeneka is related (has it been proved) and, if so, the % age of recipients so far affected? Prior to Astra Zeneka, could you advise the fatality ratio of brain haemorrhage cases. This write-up fails to mention if Sheela Divakar passed away naturally or otherwise due to brain haemorrhage.
