When I was in school, I dressed up like Lord Krishna in a fancy dress competition. I did not win a prize, but a kid dressed like bushman won it. Should I be whining as if this rejection is an insult to Lord Krishna. There was no malice in the decision. The person who performed better won. Even a kid understands that. I can bet that not a single person in protest knows what concept was presented by Kerala in their tableaux except that Sri Narayana Guru's idol was to be on it. If there was no malice in the decision of rejection, I pity the intellect of those protesting. For ages politicians have used various variables like religion and caste to divide people for creating their own vote banks. This is another attempt in the name of Sri Narayana Guru.

The tableau, originally conceived of by the Tamil Nadu and West Bengal government for participation in the Republic Day celebrations in New Delhi, was rejected by the Centre. But Karnataka was the only state from southern India whose tableau was selected for the parade. If any tableau is rejected at the centre ,then nothing wrong in displaying the same in the state. part of RD celebrations. JUST ENJOY. NO politics please.

If these people had the least respect for Shri Narayana Guru, they would not made use of him to score brownie points. As I have read about his life and preaching very well, I feel laughing when I see the silver crown on Shri Narayana Guru's statue! These people made him a God, which he himself would not have agreed!

People joined to show regret as they say their guru was insulted ,but look at the way people enjoyed the procession . all are smiling and enjoying every bit of the rally . Felt it has not achieved its main motive. Why did Shivkumar didnot turn up when all other big leaders of the party where present ? Janaradhan Poojary political strength has further weakened with this protest as did not see huge public on the roads to protest ,just some congress workers .
