East Zonal Committee of Thiya Samaj Organizes Health Camp

Mumbai, Dec 20: The east zonal committee of metro-based Thiya Samaj organized a health check-up camp at their office located in Pallavi Building, Pant Nagar, Ghatkopar (East), on Sunday December 19.

Thiya Samaj’s renowned cardiac surgeon Dr Dayanand Kumble conducted the check-up and advised patients on the many aspects of cardiac disease.



Thiya Samaj president Chandrashekar Belchada felicitated Dr Kumble and his team of surgeons during a simple function.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Kumble said that health is wealth. “Health camps are essential to maintain a healthy society. It’s the duty of everyone to be concerned with his or her health. A healthy body leads to a healthy mind and soul,” he said.

Thiya Samaj east zonal committee president Ravindra S Manjeshwar, former president K P Arvind, Dr Jayesh Nayak, renowned homeopathic consultant Dr Hemalata Sunil, and Dr Rajeev Kumar were present on the dais.

The Samaj vice-president Sudhakar Ucchil, west zonal committee vice-president Babu Amin, Sridar S Suvarna, honorary editor, ‘Thiya Jyothi’ monthly bulletin, east zonal committee women’s wing president Vranda Dinesh, and west zonal women’s wing
secretary Shobhalata C Salian were also present.

Hundreds of people have taken advantage of the health check-up camp on the occasion.

Thiya Samaj veteran leader Gangadhar Kallady rendered the prayers. Thiya Jyothi assistant editor Babu Belchada compered the programme. Vishwanath U K proposed the vote of thanks.
