Mumbai: BSKBA celebrates Republic day

Mumbai, January 31: BSKB association Gokula, celebrated 73rd Republic day of India at Nerul. BSKB association president Dr Suresh S Rao Kateel unfurled the national flag in the morning and conveyed his wishes to the gathering.

Vice president of the sangha, Vaman Holla, honorary secretary A P K Pothi, office bearers, executive committee and members were present. In the cultural entertainment held observing Covid protocol at Ashraya auditorium, youngsters under the guidance of Anagha Upparna and Laxmi Udupa sang patriotic songs with the help of musical instruments. Asraya residents and members sang patriotic songs, performed dances and provided entertainment. A few members sang songs and performed dances through zoom media.

 

In the hall programme presided over by Dr Suresh S Rao and attended by office bearers, students who have secured high marks in SSC, HSC and professional courses were honored by scholarships. Shivaraya Rao read the list of beneficiaries.

The programme was aired through U tube. A P K Pothi compered the programme and rendered a vote of thanks. The celebrations concluded after the national anthem.
