Mangaluru: Theft attempted at ATM in Thokottu, one arrested

Mangaluru, Feb 9: Policemen belonging to Ullal police station have arrested a person who tried to steal money from the ATM of Bank of Baroda at Thokottu here. He was arrested on the night of Tuesday February 8.

The arrested man has been identified as Beerappa from Bachanahalli in Koppal district. He was trying to steal money from the said ATM at 2 am on Tuesday.

The bank's security staff, who were alerted by the system, got in touch with the Ullal police and conveyed the information.

A police team from Ullal was dispatched immediately to the spot. The team found Beerappa there and arrested him.

    Please brothers and sisters, Please do not mock this person. Pata nahi bechare ki kya majboori hai. May be has nobody in Mamgalore who can lend him money. May be his kids are sleeping empty stomach or he needs money for treatment. May be someone forced him to do this. What he did is wrong. I don't support it. But let's not mock. Thank you.

    Good Morning, what is the punishment for such acts in Riyadh...Kindly explain. Nation wants to know. In India, such people will be released within 10-15 days with warning. If he has any god father then within 1-2 days.
