Karnataka reports 3,202 fresh Covid cases; positivity rate at 2.95 percent

Bengaluru, Feb 12: Karnataka on Saturday, February 12 registered 3,202 new coronavirus cases.

As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 38,747. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally stood at 1,293.

As many as 38 deaths due to coronavirus were reported in the state on Saturday, the death toll in the state has risen to 39,613.

The state recorded 8,988 discharges from hospitals on Saturday, taking the total discharges to 38,45,903.

So far, Karnataka has seen 39,24,297 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The positivity rate for the day stands at 2.95% while the case fatality rate for the day is 1.18 %.

As many as 9,82,23,124 people have received vaccination so far.
