Mangaluru: Police arrest five in Krishnapura stabbing, assault case

Mangaluru, Feb 14: Police arrested five people in connection with the assault incident that took place at Krishnapura sixth block under Surathkal police station limits on February 1.

The arrested accused are identified as Mohammed Sharoz Charu (24), Mohammed Mustafa (22), Abdul Amin (19), who provided car to carry on the assault, Siddique Samad (25) and Mohammed Naufil (18).

The arrested accused stabbed and seriously injured Mohammed Anas, who was speaking with his friends Aboobaker and Haris on the night of February 1.

A case was registered in Surathkal police station based on the complaint filed by Anas accusing the five of abusing, threatening with life and attack with lethal weapons.
